What makes The Radio* different?

The Radio creates a continuous listening experience around you. It brings together music, news, stories and personal updates, and lets you interrupt or change direction simply by speaking.

Does it need a subscription?

No mandatory AI subscription is required for the core Radio experience. Local intelligence is included with the product. More demanding cloud AI features may be available through optional paid services.

Does it need an internet connection?

Some features, including online music, current news and cloud intelligence, require an internet connection. The Radio is being designed to retain useful local capabilities without one. We'll confirm the exact offline features before orders open.

Is my information private?

The Radio is designed to keep personal memory and preferences locally where practical. Optional cloud services may process information needed for a requested task. A physical switch provides microphone privacy.

Can I upgrade it?

The Radio is being designed for repair and future compute upgrades, so its intelligence can evolve without replacing the whole object. Upgrade options will be confirmed as development progresses.

When will it be available?

We're targeting the first 100 customer deliveries by Christmas 2027, subject to financing, certification and manufacturing readiness. Final delivery details will be confirmed before full orders are placed.

What does reserving involve?

A $100 USD reservation holds your place in the first production allocation. We'll confirm finish, pricing and delivery with you before it becomes a full order — and the deposit is refundable if you change your mind.

Will it work with what I already have?

That's the intention. Radio* is being designed to work alongside your existing phone, television and music services rather than replace them. We'll publish confirmed integrations before orders open.
